In continuation to Nepal earthquake relief efforts from the government of Pakistan, another one C-130 sortie was sent today carrying 3000 Tarpaulin.
A total 18xC-130 sorties carrying relief assistance have successfully been handed over to Nepalese government for the earthquake affectees.
The total relief dispatched so far includes 2531 Tents, 3 ton Food Packs (13 kg/ 29 kg each),1000 NDMA Blankets and additional 12.5 tons of Medicines, 15 Community Shelter, 17000 Tarpaulin Shelters, 20 ton Rice, 0.5 tons Lentil , 500 kgs ( 3024 litres) Water and 3000 MREs.
The USAR Team having successfully cleared 5 sites, has already returned on 5 May, while the field hospital after carrying out a successful tour of duty(treated 2700 patients and 32 operations conducted) has also returned on 18th May 2015 from Nepal.
