The CPN (UML) has provided one million rupees for relief of Dang flood victims.
Party Vice-chair Yubraj Gyawali and central committee member Shankar Pokharel jointly handed over the cheque for the said amount to the Chief District Officer Dinesh Bhattarai on Thursday.
CDO Bhattarai is the coordinator of the District Disaster Rescue Committee.
The cash was provided from the relief fund of the party, collected by the central committe.
The relief collection would continue by mobilisation of different sister wings of the party, party sources said.
Floods in the district on August 14, killed 14 people and damaged around 525 houses in the district.
