Nepal: Blankets distributed to cold affected locals in Siraha

Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RNN) Lahan office has distributed blankets to the cold affected locals of Bishnuparkatti and Siswani VDCs in Siraha district.

A total of 350 families of the VDCs were provided with blankets.

Programme Office of RNN Dorendra Basnet told RSS that they have been planning to distribute blankets to the poor families in 10 VDCs in the district. Altogether 17 people have died of cold in the district this winter. Nepalnews.com
